Technical Skills Intensive
September 30-October 2, 2024
This intermediate level workshop covers self-belay climbing, gear retrievals and Standard Operating Procedures for specialty elements. Pre-Requisite: Adventure Programming workshop or an equivalent foundational technical training (basic belay and knot tying skills are required).
Adventure Programming (NEWLY ADDED!)
October 7-10, 2024
This foundational workshop introduces participants to techniques needed to begin programming using adventure-based games and initiatives, and low and high elements are introduced. Participants will be taught basic belay and knot tying skills.
Advanced Skills & Standards
October 7-10, 2024
This advanced level workshop covers belay escape and rescue procedures. Pre-requisite: Technical Skills Intensive workshop or equivalent technical training (must know how to self-belay climb and perform gear retrievals in order to attend).
Adventure with Youth at Risk
October 15-17, 2024
This workshop will help educators, trainers, counselors, and therapists to develop a deeper understanding of how to implement adventure-based activities to promote prosocial behavior and achieve social emotional learning objectives.
Adventures in Low Elements
October 21-23, 2024
This is our intermediate workshop for individuals looking to explore the many different low elements. During this workshop, discover the variety of ways low elements can be used.
Adventure Program Management
November 18-20, 2024
This is advanced workshop is designed to expand the knowledge of individuals responsible for managing adventure programs and/or challenge courses. This is an opportunity to gain critical skills to efficiently manage the logistics, safety, and risk involved in operating an adventure program.
Social Emotional Learning through Adventure
December 5-6, 2024
In this workshop, participants will be exposed to a wide range of adventure-based, SEL-linked activities. We explore strategies for applying adventure concepts to align and integrate the diverse social and emotional learning initiatives in their school
