Description
The Second Saturday of each month, the Cape Ann Museum is free for all Cape Ann Residents. Visitors of all ages are invited to head down to the CAM Studio during their visit to participate in a new art project.
On Saturday, December 9, the Cape Ann Museum is proud to be a partner of the Middle Street Walk. Join us at the Museum for a series of free winter events highlighting the Davis House and Folly Cove Designers. Stop by the CAM Courtyard to take a selfie with the Lobster Trap Lighthouse!
In the CAM Studio from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, make a block-printed ornament in gold and silver to give as a gift or decorate your house. The Folly Cove Designers inspired a sense of place through their famous prints on textiles and household wares. Visit the galleries to see their work and come to the CAM Studio to make a block printed ornament in gold and silver, based on lessons Virginia Lee Burton created to teach her students.?
