An unofficial (and unauthorized) adaptation of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel “Dracula,” this German Expressionist masterpiece from F.W. Murnau features Max Schreck’s patently creepy performance as the iconic “Count Orlok.” (The production company, Prana Film, declared itself bankrupt after the film’s release to avoid paying for copyright infringement to Stoker’s widow).Visit hammondcastle.org for more details on movies, to watch trailers, and to purchase tickets!
