"I believe that job creation, business development, and stabilized neighborhoods are all part of economic development. As a Realtor I regularly speak with business owners and leaders, and residents. The common thread between them is that there isn't enough housing to allow for proper business expansion."
Cynthia Nina-Soto is an award-winning Realtor and owner of Nina-Soto Realty in Salem, MA with over 15 years of experience. In 2020 she shattered glass ceilings by becoming the first person of color to hold the Presidency at the North Shore Association of Realtors in Beverly. In that role Cynthia worked with the leadership team to establish new rules which promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Realtor Association.
Cynthia is a board member at Harborlight Community Partners. She is a fierce housing advocate who regularly meets with state and local elected officials and has also traveled to Washington DC to advocate for housing affordability and accessibility with Senators Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren. She previously served in the Affordable Housing Trust for the City of Salem and currently serves on the Salem Redevelopment Authority and the Salem Scholarship and Education Committee.
