This spring, the Cape Ann Museum partnered with Backyard Growers to plant raised garden beds at the Cape Ann Museum Green. These gardens were filled with vegetables and herbs that would have been grown on Cape Ann in the 1700’s when both the White-Ellery House (1710) and the Babson-Alling House (c. 1740) were built.
In this panel presentation, learn about the history of kitchen gardens on Cape Ann and how Backyard Growers is working with residents throughout the region to continue the tradition into today.
