Crane Beach (8AM-sunset daily), Castle Hill (9AM to 5PM daily except 4PM from Nov-Jan)

Driving Directions:

From Rt. 128 North Exit 45B, take Rt. 1A North for 8 mi. Right onto Rt. 133 East, follow for 1.5 mi. Left onto Northgate Rd, follow for 0.5 mi. Turn right onto Argilla Rd, follow 2.3 miles to entrance

About Us

The Crane Estate includes Crane Beach, Crane Wildlife Refuge, and Castle Hill. We are open year-round for public enjoyment--hiking, picnicking, and kayaking, as well as offering guided tours, private rentals, and public events. Annual events include Cocktails at the Castle, Castle Hill Picnic Concerts, Roaring Twenties Lawn Party, Choate Island Days, Castle Hill Vintage Car Climb, Crane Estate Art Show, Christmas at Castle Hill, and live theatre.
