About Us
Professional Rope splicing service that makes mooring lines, dock lines, anchor rodes, dog leashes, collars, wreaths, bracelets, Rope Rugs (new and recycled), and custom splices for any rope project.
Born and raised in Gloucester, MA, I am a professional rope splicing service provider that takes pride in continuing the long-standing tradition of splicing rope in America's oldest seaport. I grew up lobstering and fishing with my father and learned to splice 3-strand line through that experience. I graduated Gloucester High in 2009 and joined the Marines for 4 yrs. After I got out I started work at a local boatyard (Rose Marine) where I found a demand for rope splicing. With the aid of books and the internet I self-taught modern rope splices. In 2019 I officially started up Steve's Rope Splicing and sub-contracted to major rope manufacture Fall River where I had the opportunity to have my splices tested and approved. My latest endeavors have been diversifying into pet products, rope doormats and more artistic uses of rope.
