SeniorCare is seeking a Temporary Part Time Technology Trainer/Navigator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will organize and conduct digital skills classes for older adults, help older adults in their homes, and host Technology Office Hours for drop-in support. Additional responsibilities include tracking program activities and outcomes, assisting with accessing affordable internet services, leading small group Virtual Reality sessions, and providing other services as needed to support the SeniorCare technology initiatives. This position is set to conclude June 2026.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in group teaching or training, preferably with experience accommodating different learning styles.
- Knowledge and expertise in the digital technology arena.
- Experience with program implementation.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with those who have little to no experience with technology and who may be experiencing visual, hearing, and/or other challenges.
- Travel throughout SeniorCare’s service area required; must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be comfortable working one-to-one with older adults in their homes.
