The Museum is located in the heart of downtown Gloucester, one block north from Main Street and one short block east of City Hall and the Sawyer Free Library. Metered parking is available in the public lot across from the Museum.
Gloucester is also easily accessible by public transportation on the MBTA commuter rail, which connects Cape Ann directly with the greater Boston area and beyond. From Boston's North Station, take the Newburyport/Rockport line to the Gloucester stop; the Museum is a short walk (0.4 miles) from the train station.

Join the docents of the Cape Ann Museum on a variety of themed mini tours. Several twenty minute tours will be offered, beginning on the hour and on the half hour. Each tour will touch on a particular area within the Museum's collections. Participants are encouraged to spend the entire morning at the Museum, enjoying two, three perhaps all of the mini tours. Tours are "first come, first served," there are no reservations and space is limited. Free for CAM Members and Cape Ann residents or with Museum admission. Tours start at 10:00 am on January 21 and at 1:30 on January 22.
