Description
As we close out 2025, Discover Gloucester is planning The Tourism & Business Summit, a reimagined gathering designed to bring Gloucester’s tourism and business community together for a morning of insight, collaboration, and connection.
This dynamic event brings Gloucester’s tourism, business, and creative community together to explore economic impact, tourism trends, and visitor spending, while creating space for meaningful conversation across sectors. We are pleased to welcome Mayor Paul Lundberg, who will kick off the morning following breakfast.
You’ll hear from Nancy Gardella, Executive Director of the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau, who will share updated data from the Massachusetts Office for Travel and Tourism, including refined visitor spending insights. Sam Bevins, CEO of the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, will also present key findings on lodging tax data, CATA usage, and beach parking revenue.
Industry Roundtables – Your Voice Matters
A key part of this year’s Summit happens before we gather in February. Discover Gloucester will be hosting Industry Roundtables throughout January to hear directly from our tourism and business community about challenges, opportunities, and priorities for the year ahead.To stay up to date on the latest Summit news, RSVP for roundtables, and help us with planning, we encourage you to complete the Google Form linked below.

Breakout Sessions Tailored to You
The Summit will also feature breakout sessions focused on timely, relevant topics with practical takeaways you can apply to your business or organization. We’ll conclude the morning with updates on the Battle of Gloucester and MA250, followed by time for questions and discussion.
