Description
Big Data in Small Slices is the first program launching the Sawyer Free Library's Technology on the Horizon series. The Technology on the Horizon series puts the spotlight on individuals and organizations in the Gloucester/North Shore area working with critical or emerging technologies in order to inspire individuals to learn about new technologies, the innovation happening in our community, and even new career paths.
Join data analysis and visualization expert, author, and journalist Dianne Finch-Claydon to learn about how data visualization can be used to combat climate change, better our world, and even help your career. This is a presentation with some workshop components that do not require any previous knowledge on the topic. All are welcome!
Dianne Finch-Claydon is the author of the newly published Big Data in Small Slices: Data Visualization for Communicators, which will be available to checkout at SFL.
