Join us in the small town of Rockport for a BIG celebration – Rockport New Year’s Eve: 80 shows by 40 different acts in 17 venues, most of which are handicap-accessible, and all of which are within easy walking distance of one another. There is free parking at Whistlestop Mall, and there is free bus service from the parking and the train station. Events begin at 6:00PM and end with a midnight ball drop. Performances include all kinds of music, story telling, puppet shows, and much more. Visit rockportnye.org for a performance schedule and more information. Buttons bought in advance cost only $15 for adults and $10 for youth ages 13 – 18. Buttons purchased from December 25 on cost $20 for adults and $15 for youth. Children age 12 and under are free. Buttons can be purchased online and at 10 locations in Rockport and Gloucester.
