A Boston-based troubadour known for his soulful vocals and deft, bluesy fingerpicking guitar, Ryan Montbleau blends folk, soul, blues and rock together for a joyful hybrid of sound. Montbleau was born and raised in Peabody, MA, and though he had played guitar since childhood, didn't begin performing and writing songs in earnest until his college years at Villanova. In Boston, Montbleau began performing at cafes and clubs around the city and the northeast, gradually working up enough songs to begin recording. Tickets: $15-$28
