Rockport Art Association & Museum Celebrates 100 Years

Rockport Art Association & Museum, located at 12 Main Street in Rockport, will be honoring the 100^th anniversary of its founding with a public observance on their front lawn on Saturday, July 24. This special event will include the depositing of a time capsule, live music by The Jazz Imposters, and the release of Legacy & Future: The Story of RAA&M, their just-published 100^th anniversary book. 
Copies of Legacy & Future will be available for sale, music will fill the air, and merriment will abound!  All are invited to come on down and sign a scroll that will be placed inside the time capsule, as well as jot down any well-wishes for those who will be opening the time capsule a century from now. The scroll will be available for signing beginning at 1 PM and the main event will begin at 2 PM.
