Description
The rescheduled State Representative candidate forum is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the lecture hall of the Gloucester High School. Participating candidates will present their platforms and respond to questions.
Candidates, listed alphabetically who are participating, include Christina Delisio (Manchester – R), Gilbert Frieden (Essex – Unenrolled), Andrew Tarr (Gloucester – D), and Sarah Wilkinson (Rockport – D).
This event is complimentary and open to the community, sponsored by the Cape Ann Political Action Committee, a non-partisan organization. Howard Frisch, CPA, will moderate the forum. Members of Gloucester High School’s “Newly Forming” Debate Club will contribute by developing and asking questions. Additionally, the Sophomore Class of 2028 will host a bake sale, and the NJROTC will conduct color guard duties and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
The candidates are participating in a special election to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Ann-Margaret Ferrante, State Representative for Essex 5th District (Gloucester, Manchester, Rockport, and Essex).
