Description
Old Sloop Coffeehouse is proud to present a concert with Rebecca Loebe and Jesse Terry Saturday, March 24, at 7:30 PM at the handicap-accessible First Congregational Church of Rockport, 12 School St. This co-bill features two beloved performers who will sing their own songs, back each other up, and collaborate on a song or two.
Rebecca Loebe is a young singer-songwriter who grew up in Atlanta and has spent time in DC, Boston and New York, now making her home in Austin, TX. She is known for her distinct voice and well-crafted. She was selected as a contestant on the premier season of NBC’s primetime competition show “The Voice,” viewed by 12 million people in its first airing.
Jesse Terry is a singer/songwriter with an uncanny ability to weave tales of travel and homecoming, of sorrow and of redemption, into songs that are simultaneously timeless and fresh. His melodic and lyrically-driven Americana fits naturally on a playlist between cuts from Josh Ritter, Jackson Browne, Ryan Adams and Neil Young.
Coffee, tea, and a variety of delicious (and very popular) home-made baked pie and cake will be sold before and after the concert and at intermission.
