National Gallery is master documentarian Frederick Wiseman's portrait of the estimable London institution of the same name. Wiseman, who spent 12 weeks deep inside the National Gallery, focuses his lens largely on the artwork and paintings themselves, but also on the people - the art historians, educators, conservators, museum staff, as well as the many visitors - all of whom have an intimate relationship with both the place and the art.
