Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce Hosts Ribbon-Cutting; Public Welcome
GLOUCESTER, MA – June 15, 2021 – Meredith A. Fine, Esq., today announced the opening of a second law office at 2 North Main Street, Ipswich, Massachusetts. The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the opening by hosting a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 21. Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited.
Attorney Fine opened her law practice, Cape Ann Business Law, PC, in Gloucester in 2009, focusing on real estate, business counseling, and litigation. The Ipswich practice will provide convenient access to legal representation to businesses and residents on the North Shore.
Attorney Fine: Working for the Community
In 2020, Attorney Fine helped clients buy and sell approximately $27 million of real estate throughout Massachusetts. She is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association and the North Shore Association of Realtors.
Attorney Fine represents numerous business, from small start-ups to multi-million-dollar companies to non-profits. For the past three years, she has been general counsel to the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.
As a litigator, Attorney Fine has won cases in the District, Superior, Probate and Land courts. In December 2020, she won a landmark case, In the Matter of the Estate of Jacqueline A. Kendall¸ when the state’s highest court ruled there is a three-year time limit on estate claims by MassHealth.
Attorney Fine has served on the boards of the Sawyer Free Library, the Sawyer Library Foundation, the Open Door, and Temple Ahavat Achim. She is an honors graduate of the University of Rochester and New England Law/Boston. Prior to attending law school, she was a journalist, including five years as editor of the Ipswich Chronicle from 1988-1993.
