Description
The Ipswich Bike Parade is a popular, family-friendly July 4th tradition that kicks off the town’s Independence Day festivities. Children and families gather to decorate their bikes, trikes, and wagons before taking a festive one-mile route through town.
The event is entirely free and welcomes walkers, scooters, and wagons in addition to bicycles. It is a fantastic way to kick off the holiday before the rest of the town's celebrations, games, and musical events begin later in the day.
For the most up-to-date schedule and announcements regarding the 250th Independence Day celebrations, you can check the Historic Ipswich events page or keep an eye on the Ipswich ReCreation Department for any last-minute registration requirements.
