Alex Doyle
Ipswich Small Business Person of the Year
Alex Doyle is the owner of Conley's Drug Store in Ipswich. As an Eagle Scout Alex developed a commitment to service, community and helping others. Alex grew up in Ipswich and worked at the family pharmacy throughout high school. Seeing the dedication and impact his parents made in the lives of others he chose to pursue a career in pharmacy. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2006 and moved to CT for work. Alex moved back to the area in 2010 when he opened his own pharmacy in Gloucester. Having a passion for compounding pharmacy and helping patients individualize their therapies he took over Conley's Drug Store from his parents in 2020. Throughout the last year and a half Alex and his team at Conley's compounded hand sanitizer when it was not available, sourced necessary masks and PPE and was greatly involved in helping the immunization effort in our area. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Estelle and 2 children Eva and Ethan.
