Description
John Pettibone, former curator and executive director of Hammond Castle Museum, and Scott Cordiner, curator and creative director, will host a lecture and demonstration in the History of Medieval Arms and Armor. Pettibone spent many years studying the ancient art of armor and examples from the Museum's collection will be on display including: a Japanese samurai pole arm (naginata), an armored sleeve and the shoulder protection from a Japanese Samurai. At the conclusion of the program there will be a question and answer session.
