Groundbreaking Ceremony at agriCulture

Join Backyard Growers for a celebration of the upcoming ground-breaking at agriCulture, the new community food-growing and gathering site at Willowood Gardens. Hear from Backyard Growers Executive Director Alison W. DiFiore and special partners about how this project is spear-headed by Willowood residents and designed to build community connections over the act of growing and sharing fresh food with neighbors.
 

Following the celebration, the experts at Araneo Landworks will do important site prep in the agriCulture space adjacent to Willowood Community Garden before the installation of a pavilion, perennial gardens, modular seating, and children's play area designed in collaboration with the Willowood community by artist-in-residence Claudia Paraschiv of Studioful Designs. The built environment will be created by our partners at The Cornerstone Creative, with lumber generously donated by Building Center.
