Tobin's Bio:
Tobin Dominick is an owner-operator, community builder, and steward of small business on Cape Ann. Alongside her brother Drew, she has led their family businesses, Cape Ann Marina and Mile Marker One Restaurant, growing it into a year-round destination encompassing hospitality, marine services, and waterfront experiences.
 
Under her leadership, the business has continually evolved—renovating and modernizing the property, launching Mile Marker One, expanding marine services, and developing workforce pathways through technician training and apprenticeship programs. She has helped launch and grown signature community events, including the Bluefin Blowout and the Annual Boat Parade of Lights. When called upon by fellow community folks, Cape Ann Marina consistently steps up to support local initiatives through fundraising, collaboration, and in-kind contributions.
 
An advocate for accessible and sustainable boating, Tobin is committed to stewarding clean, working waters that sustain both commercial and recreational boaters. Beyond her business, she is a founding partner and Chair of Discover Gloucester and a tireless advocate for the region as a vibrant, year-round destination.
 
A former two-sport Division I athlete at Boston College, Tobin also works as a fitness professional and health/life coach. She is driven by connection with people, and the belief that small businesses are the backbone of thriving communities.
