Description
Step back into America’s golden era when author Jana Milbocker will talk about her newest book, Gardens of the Gilded Age at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. In this richly illustrated talk, Jana will explore the estates and landscapes created for families such as the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers – and the Cranes – alongside the visionary architects and designers who brought their grandeur to life. Castle Hill is one of thirty gardens profiled in the book. The lecture will take place in the Great House and doors will open at 5:30 pm. Attendees are welcome to arrive early and explore the Castle Hill gardens and grounds. Meet the author during post-talk book signing. Light refreshments will be served following the lecture. Accessible parking and seating are available. Tickets are $28 for Trustees members. $35 for nonmembers. Full event details here.
