Fortuny At The Castle
Haute Couture Returns to Hammond Castle Museum with Display of
Mario Fortuny Gowns
Throughout September guests visiting the Museum may view the two vintage, Mario Fortuny gowns. Dated between 1920 and 1930, the gowns are made in Fortuny’s “Eleonora” Renaissance style and feature hundreds of silk pleats, Venetian glass beads, and handprinted velvet.
Don't miss your chance to see what the avant garde were wearing nearly 100 years ago!
