The Museum is located in the heart of downtown Gloucester, one block north from Main Street and one short block east of City Hall and the Sawyer Free Library. Metered parking is available in the public lot across from the Museum.
Gloucester is also easily accessible by public transportation on the MBTA commuter rail, which connects Cape Ann directly with the greater Boston area and beyond. From Boston's North Station, take the Newburyport/Rockport line to the Gloucester stop; the Museum is a short walk (0.4 miles) from the train station.

ARTIST DUOS AND TRIOS OF CAPE ANN Join Museum staff for a family oriented tour and specialized activities focusing on the dynamic work and life relationships formed by these artists. This drop-in program is perfect for families with preschool and elementary school aged children. Free for children and Museum members or with Museum admission. Tuesday, February 16 Theresa Bernstein & William Meyerowitz—Learn more about the paintings of husband and wife duo Theresa Bernstein and William Meyerowitz then create Gloucester-inspired pastel works in the Activity Center. Wednesday, February 17 Fitz Henry Lane & Mary Blood Mellen—Learn about Gloucester's own Fitz Henry Lane and his student Mary Blood Mellen, then paint your own interpretation of Gloucester Harbor in the Activity Center. Thursday, February 18 Peter Vincent, Don Gorvett, & Jeff Weaver—Explore the special exhibition Vincent, Weaver, Gorvett: Gloucester, Three Visions, then make a unique portrait of your own home, a Styrofoam relief-print or a watercolor of workers of the waterfront. Friday, February 19 Virginia Lee Burton & George Demetrios—Discover the works of husband and wife duo Virginia Lee Burton and George Demetrios in the Museum's collection, then reimagine one of Burton's beloved book characters, sketch your family in motion or create a unique clay sculpture.
