Description
Join Greenbelt and the Manchester-Essex Conservation Trust for a vernal adventure. Every spring, nature offers a short, but exciting, treat in our protected local woodlands. Erika Sonder, expert botanist, will lead a group along the paths in the Warren-Weld Woodland in search of tiny wildflowers such as Wood Anenome, Bunchberry and Canada Mayflower. Erika's sharp eyes are sure to spot other treasures as the wetlands and woodlands in this area provide a variety of soils and exposures for plant diversity. Space is limited to 15 people, so please RSVP to the Essex County Greenbelt Association early. Erika's guided walks are very popular.
