Join us for an enchanting visit, where White Birch and Christmas trees, lush garlands, festive wreaths, and candlelight fill the halls with warmth and seasonal magic. Immerse yourself in a bygone era of opulent tranquility and holiday grandeur that promises to be unlike any other experience on the North Shore.
Holiday-Themed Rooms to Explore:
- Reception Room and Entry Hallways – Welcome the season with angelic decor that radiates peace and joy.
- The Great Hall – Be captivated by a winter woodland scene adorned with poinsettias, creating a grand and festive atmosphere.
- The Dining Room – Step into an elegant setting of silver and gold, inspired by nature and perfect for a holiday feast.
- The Library – Enjoy the charm of a Victorian family room, with Santas, snowmen, teddy bears, and a beautiful Christmas tree.
- The Den – A serene palette of blue and silver sets a cozy holiday scene, watched over by a brigade of nutcrackers.
- The Gothic Guest Room – Discover the rich, ornate beauty of maroon and gold decor, capturing the essence of a Victorian Christmas.
- The American Guest Room – Feel the rustic charm of a Scandinavian woods-inspired scene, complete with whimsical gnomes and elves.
Plan your visit and choose a Guided or Self-Guided Tour. Guests should plan to spend approximately 60 minutes exploring the Museum. 10 am - 4 pm, the last entrance is 3:15 pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. The Museum's last day for the 2024 Tour Season is December 29th.
