This year we will be featuring the Cape Ann Reads Winner: The Tree in Dock Square by Jean Woodbury. Jean will also be joining us on Saturday, December 10 @ 2PM for a reading and book-signing.

Thursday, December 1

5 - 7 PM: Manchester Division Party & Lucky 9 Drawing at Boo Bird Restaurant & Bar
Join the Manchester Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the Holidays!  We will have our Annual Lucky 9 Drawing. Enter for your chance to win the $1,000 first prize. The Lucky 9 Raffle is how we fund Manchester's Christmas by the Sea celebrations.  Proceeds from the sale of the tickets go the funding of the Town's Holiday events. 

Friday, December 2

10 AM to 8 PM: Holiday Open House at the Manchester Historical Museum

4 to 8 PM: Manchester Holiday Stroll
Stroll through beautiful Downtown Manchester by the Sea - picturesque and quaint! Many local shops will be open, offering discounts and refreshments to strollers! Take part in the drawing to win a great prize! There are two grand prizes this year. To participate in this drawing, get your passbook stamped by the participating businesses listed, on Friday evening December 2, between 4 PM and 8 PM. When your passbook is complete, please return it to the Antique Table by 8:15PM.  The prize drawing will be held at the Antique Table at 8:30 PM.

5 to 8 PM: Polar Express Parent's Night Out
Drop your kids off in their Holiday pajamas for an evening of fun activities, free pizza, and a showing of the movie, "The Polar Express". Free for children ages Pre-K to Grade 5. Cornerstone Church, 20 School St, Manchester.

5:30 to 8 PM: New this Year! Holiday Book sale & More
Join the Friends of the Manchester Library to peruse the hottest new book titles from the Beverly Farms Bookstore! Plus: Children's books, stocking stuffers, wrapping paper, cards and more! Find us in the First Parish Church's Chapel, behind Santander Bank.

Saturday, December 3

10 AM to 8 PM: Holiday Open House at the Manchester Historical Museum

10:30 AM: Hearthside Stories
Presented by the Manchester Public Library: Hearthside Stories with Diane Edgecomb and with Treats provided by the Friends of the Library.

1 - 3 PM:  Santa Claus is Coming to Town for the Annual Jingle Bell Walk
Come join us for an afternoon of fun! Santa will arrive at Masconomo Park by boat and lead the children in a parade around the park. Then the jolly man will be stationed at his photo booth, so the children can take pictures. There will also be a petting zoo, crafts, face painting, a candy cane hunt, refreshments and a visit from Mrs. Claus! Sponsored by the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, Manchester Community Center, Manchester Mother's Club and the Parks and Recreation Department.

Sunday, December 4

9 - 11:30 AM:  Breakfast & Photos with Santa
The Manchester Masons will be hosting a Breakfast with Santa ($10/pp) at the Manchester Masonic Lodge, located at 10 Church St. Photos with Santa are $5 per sitting (Families, kids & dogs are welcome!)

3:30 PM: Community Friendship Tree Lighting & Program
