Description
Care Dimensions, the largest Massachusetts provider of hospice and palliative care for adults and children, has opened registration for the 35th Annual Walk for Hospice, the annual fundraiser that ensures expert and compassionate care is provided to any patient and their loved ones in need. The in-person walk begins at 9 a.m. on the campus of St. John's Prep in Danvers, but choose joining us or walking your own walk, your way.
“This year it’s easier and more flexible than ever to be a walker, donor and fundraiser, with the choice of joining our in-person 3-mile walk in Danvers or designing your own walk – it’s all up to you,” said Special Events Manager Amy Rein. “Join us on October 2 for this meaningful event with family, friends and the community – or walk, run or do any fun activity whenever it is convenient for you. Remember your loved ones, celebrate caregivers, and inspire support.”

Family Sets Goal to Double Their 2021 Fundraising
Danielle Khitrik, whose family participated in the Walk in 2021 in commemoration of her father, Daniel Nigro, coordinated her family’s walk last year on Castle Island “to see the skyline of East Boston, where my dad grew up.
“We’re proud to tell our story about how Care Dimensions cared for my family; we were honored to participate in the Walk and run our Facebook fundraiser,” she says. “The Walk for Hospice keeps your loved ones’ memory alive, helps your healing and reminds you your loved ones are walking beside you.”
Care Dimensions serves more than 2,000 hospice and palliative care patients every day, wherever they call home. Your support of the Walk for Hospice provides more comprehensive care such as complementary therapies and bereavement support and means that no patient is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
