Without Just Grounds, a series of paintings by Rockport artist Elaine MacGray Starrett (1929-2021), will be presented at the White-Ellery House by Cape Ann Climate Coalition’s Carbon Sequestration and Climate Arts’ Action Groups this August. The series reflects Starrett’s concern for the protection of open space and natural resources.
On Sunday, August 21 at 2:00 pm, join the Cape Ann Museum for a discussion of Starrett’s work and environmental activism by her daughter Amy Bower and Cape Ann Climate Coalition Climate Arts members Susan Quateman and Axel Magnuson, who helped to produce the webinar?'A Call to Artists: Climate Change, Environment and the Arts In Our Community.’ (available on www.capeannclimatecoalition.org).
