4th Annual Festival in the Shipyard

A FREE afternoon of Music and Art! This spirited event overlooking the Essex River celebrates local creativity and includes an art show and sale, live music, cookout, brick oven pizza, baked goods and beer and wine for sale on site, kids craft station, a raffle station and activities for all! The event will showcase artists and makers and celebrate local creativity. The event is FREE and open to the public. Handicapped Accessible. Good dogs on leashes welcome. No parking on site. Parking available on streets and behind the Essex Fire Station at 24 Martin Street. Non-Artist Members: A $10 participant/registration fee per artist. 25% of sales will go to the museum. (Inquire about becoming an Artist Member! Artist members get free participation at museum art shows.) If you would like to participate, please fill in the form below and send a copy via email to: chris@essexshipbuildingmuseum.org -OR- mail or drop it by the museum. Non-Artist Members please send or deliver your $10 fee as well. Work should be delivered to the museum by Wednesday September 20th. The volume of work to be exhibited by each participant will be determined once we receive all forms. We will let you know soon how much room there is! Larger or outdoor work such as sculptures can be delivered at an agreed upon time.
