Yesterday we held a ribbon cutting for a new Main

Yesterday we held a ribbon cutting for a new Main Street business in Gloucester – The Chambered Nautilus. The GCACC was joined by Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken and Ted Costa III from Senator Tarr’s office along with close friends and supporter of The Chambered Nautilus. Jennifer Chapman, the owner of The Chambered Nautilus, has spent her life preparing to open a space that any person can enter and feel welcome to explore their spirituality. The light, bright and welcoming décor, encourages visitors to open up and share their experiences with spirituality. The space hosts a variety of displays showcasing Jennifer’s own work, but also includes work from local artists and spirituality specialists. Jennifer hopes to host events like their upcoming Ocean Ritual Ceremony, this Friday at 6 PM, to welcome the community to her space and diverse spiritual understandings. October 31: Drive Through Trick or Treat - 3 PM to 5 PM behind Town Hall. Register for a treat bag here: www.mbtsrec.com
October 31: Town wide trick or treat from 5 PM to 7 PM. Streets will NOT be blocked off in the Village.

Thank you to all who came out to celebrate Cake Ann’s new home at 63 Rogers Street (The Gloucester House) in Gloucester with a ribbon cutting. The Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce was joined by Senator Bruce Tarr, Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken, the Cake Ann team, and dozens of Cake Ann’s sweet-toothed supporters. Their stunning space is larger than before - complete with a dishwasher and water views! Congratulations to Inga and everyone at Cake Ann on the move. Make sure you stop by if you haven’t already to check out their beautiful new home and sample some goodies.
