About Us
Our Mission
Cape Ann Symphony fosters and promotes symphonic music to deepen the musical enjoyment and knowledge of audiences on Cape Ann and Boston's North Shore.
Our Vision
A leading regional orchestra, rooted in its community. The Cape Ann Symphony exists to give accomplished musicians a place to perform together, and to share what they make with audiences of every age. We support the musical development of our neighbors, with a particular emphasis on young people, and we take an active role in the civic life of the region.
Our long view: national recognition as a leading regional orchestra, known for artistic excellence, financial steadiness, and civic spirit. The work that gets us there is led by our Music Director, Yoichi Udagawa, and the seventy musicians who make up the orchestra and chorus.
