Part-Time Holiday Production & Shipping Support

Rockport Candle Company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented person to help behind the scenes with candle production, processing, and shipping during our busy holiday season.

This position is based at our production workspace in Rockport, with deliveries to our Bearskin Neck retail shop.

Responsibilities include:

• Pouring candles using prepared mixtures
• Clearing pouring tables and boxing candles for transfer to the shop
• Cleaning jars and applying labels neatly and consistently
• Assembling and packaging holiday gift sets
• Checking, packing, and preparing online orders for shipment
• Transporting boxed products to our retail shop
• Keeping workspaces clean and organized

We’re looking for someone who enjoys careful, hands-on work, follows written instructions, checks their work for accuracy, and asks questions when needed. Candle-making experience is not required; training is provided.

A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required for transporting products to the shop.

Schedule: Approximately 12 hours per week, ideally three weekday mornings from 9 a.m.–1 p.m., but flexible for the right candidate. Exact days can be discussed.

Pay: $20/hour

This position is initially through December 24, with the possibility of ongoing part-time work based on business needs and mutual fit.
