Description
David Coffin is a folk musician deeply rooted in traditional and contemporary folk music, drawing inspiration from North America, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Brittany. His repertoire primarily consists of maritime traditions, including sea-chanteys, ballads, and sailor songs. Since 1980, Coffin has been a staple performer with Revels, showcasing his talents as a singer, instrumentalist, and Master of Ceremonies in over 70 productions by 2022, honoring cultural traditions during solstice celebrations. With four solo CDs, three digital albums, and numerous recording collaborations, Coffin's musical legacy continues to thrive. Notably, he was featured as the Chantey Singer in the Amazon Prime film "Blow the Man Down."
