Description
CAM Director of Library & Archives Molly O’Hagan Hardy calls upon local archival collections to trace how Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who had yet to visit the area when “The Wreck of the Hesperus” (1840) was written, inadvertently became Cape Ann’s greatest tourist ambassador. Offered in conjunction with Unfolding Histories. Free for CAM members / $10 nonmembers (includes Museum admission). Museum galleries will be open until 7:00 p.m.
