Group Rooms Reservations Coordinator - Beauport Hotel

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with setting up room blocks for social and corporate events within the property management system
  • Cross referencing wedding guest lists to our property management system to ensure couples have accurate guest information
  • Provide rooming lists to clients from room blocks
  • Assisting with reservations team to ensure reservations for social and corporate events are correct
  • Inputting group rooming lists using property management system and assisting with revising room blocks to maintain the required number of available rooms
  • Assisting with proper billing of accounts according to accounting policies
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or mail from clients
  • Assisting on all other tasks that the Revenue Manager or designated representative requires

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a reservations or other customer service role preferred
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills and possess excellent telephone etiquette to effectively and courteously relay accurate information to the guest and in collaborations with the team
  • Must have ability to multitask in a high volume environment
  • Must have the ability to perform well in a high stress environment

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Proficient in English, required
  • Proficient in PMS RoomMaster, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, preferred
  • Familiarity with TravelClick Channel Management and Ihotelier, preferred

 

* Nights and weekends may be required. This is a 20-hour week position.
