Long term Ombudsman Director

SeniorCare is looking for a long-term care ombudsman director to join their team.

The long-term care Ombudsman is an advocate working to resolve problems related to the health, welfare and rights of individuals living in licensed long term care facilities. Visiting facilities on a regular basis, Ombudsmen offer a way for residents to voice their complaints and work towards resolution with staff. The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program Director conducts and oversees the work of the ombudsman program. Responsibilities include receiving, assessing, and resolving complaints/problems, which may adversely affect the quality of care, health, finances, welfare, and autonomy of a resident or patient; planning, organizing, staffing and supervising certified ombudsmen and the Assistant Program Director, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program.
