At the center is Sumner's songwriting. Her song 'Radium Girls (Curie Eleison)'has been streamed over 300\,000 times and has been used by dancers and theater directors. The trio features Kat Wallace on fiddle and vocals and Mike Siegel on upright bass and vocals. Their playing brings both tension and tenderness to the sound. Sumner was the 2025 Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest winner and was a 2024 winner of the Kerrville New Folk competition.
