DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 25th at 10am as we reveille our new gift shop\, and welcome our 2019 season with Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken and ribbon cutting with the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nThis grand reopening features a collaborative effort from Linda Harvey the Executive Director\, Store Manager Rebeccah Pearson and Caretaker Jay Craveiro that has designed and created a brand new setting for our new collectible gift selection that Hammond Castle will be offering this year. The store will be open for shopping during the event as well from 9:30a to 2:30p.\n\n \n\nEach month from April until end of season a local artist will be featured in the gift shop as well. If you would like to be a featured artist please contact Rebeccah at rebeccahpearson@gmail.com.\n\n \n\nJoin us Thursday April 25th at 10am at Hammond Castle! Coffee and pastries will be served as well.\n\n\n\nHammond Castle Museum is a unique treasure on the coast of Gloucester\, Massachusetts. It was constructed between the years 1926 to 1929\, by inventor John Hays Hammond\, Jr. to serve as his residence. Its architectural style is that of a medieval castle\, and was custom built to encompass his private collection of artifacts spanning from ancient Rome through the Renaissance.
