DESCRIPTION:The Panorama Film Festival returns to Salem for its second year\,\n\nspotlighting 19 films by international queer and trans filmmakers under 30.\n\n\n\nJoin us at the Peabody Essex Museum on Friday December 29th from 7 to 10 pm for an\n\nopening party hosted by drag artists Julie J. and Miz Diamond Wigfall. The special\n\nscreening event promises surprises\, photo-ops\, and captivating performances\, including\n\ndrag acts and a special showcase by the queer youth organization NAGLY in\n\ncollaboration with Love your Labels.\n\n\n\nThe celebration continues throughout the weekend with a diverse selection of films\n\nscreened during museum hours on Saturday and Sunday. Please check suggested\n\nages and content warnings for each screening.\n\n\n\nIf you are not local to Salem\, all three days of the festival will be livestreamed on YouTube!\n\n\n\nThe mission of Panorama is to celebrate the wide diversity of experience and talent within the trans\n\nand queer young filmmaking community both in front of as well as behind the camera.\n\nTo create space for trans and queer artists to tell their own and appreciate others stories\n\nwithout pressure to advocate for an entire community. To simply exist as a trans or\n\nqueer person in the world is revolutionary enough.
