DESCRIPTION:Internationally acclaimed\, silent film live accompanist\, Peter Krasinski\, returns the Great Hall to accompany two classic horror films on Hammond's original Chickering & Son's piano.  \n\n\n\n* Sunday\, October 26th:  The Phantom of The Opera (1925)\n\n* Monday\, October 27th: Metropolis (1927)\n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:30 pm\, and the program begins at 7 pm. There is no assigned seating.  Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Parking is free.\n\n\n\n*This ticket grants you access to Mr. Krasinski's performance as well as access to the Museum Shop. At the time of this event\, the Museum will be closed to tours. If movie ticket holders wish to tour the Hammond Castle Museum on the day of their ticketed event\, Self-Guided Tour tickets may be purchased in the Museum Shop at a 20% discount prior to 2:30 pm.  The Museum and Grounds close promptly at 3:30 pm.  Proof of purchase will be required. \n\n\n\nMember savings apply.\n\n*All proceeds from this program will support the ongoing restoration and preservation of the Museum.\n\n\n\nImportant Accessibility Information: Hammond Castle Museum is a historic landmark\, built in the late 1920s\, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places for over 50 years. As such\, the Museum is not fully handicapped accessible. To access the Museum's Lobby and the Museum Shop from our parking lot\, visitors must descend a flight of approximately 30 exterior stone stairs\, only a portion of which has a railing. Accessing the Great Hall involves descending a spiral staircase.
