She brings a unique\, emotionally resonant perspective to her work and teaches workshops throughout New England that emphasize value and composition. Janet holds numerous honors\, including Master Circle Pastelist of the International Association of Pastel Societies\, and is a signature member and board member of several prestigious art organizations.\n\nThis 2-day workshop will explore the majestic and elegant shapes of boats\, focusing on the principles of value and composition. Students will use pastels and reference photos to explore the importance of value\, simplify what they see\, and not get stuck on the details.
