DESCRIPTION:Grant Writing Help Session\n\n\n\nGloucester Cultural Council members Lynn McGuire and Lily Narbonne will be in attendance to help prospective grantees understand the Mass Cultural Council "smart simple" applications system and the Gloucester Local Cultural Councils priorities & requirements in reviewing grants.\n\n\n\nProjects must:\n\n	Have a direct link to Gloucester\n	Recognize and celebrate Gloucester's historical nature as a center for the arts\, humanities and sciences\n	Are led by and accessible to diverse people and groups: young\, old\, strong\, infirm\, new arrivals and lifelong residents\, BIPOC\, queer/gender noncomforming\, traditionalists and innovators\n	Demonstrate innovative ways to bring science to the public\n	Promote art for equity and underserved populations\n	(NEW) Your project must occur in the Fiscal Year 2026 (Jan 1 2026 - Dec 31 2026)\n\nWe give priority to projects that have a confirmed venue and dates/schedule.\n\n\n\nApplication Opens: September 2\, 2025\n\nMass Cultural Council - Led Info Session: Sep 9\, 2025 6 PM Click to Register\n\nApplications Deadline: October 16\, 2025\n\nLCCs Grant Decisions Report Due: January 16\, 2026
