Join the Greater Cape Ann Chamber in celebrating his win at Oak to Ember in Gloucester.\n\n\n\nAbout Joe\n\n\n\n Joseph "Joe" Ciolino has been living and working in the Gloucester community his entire life. A graduate of Gloucester High School\, he continued his education at the Wentworth Institute in Boston\, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts\, Amherst.\n\n \n\nFollowing 21 years at the Gloucester Building Center\, holding the positions of Store Manager and a Corporate Vice President\, he opened The Weathervane in 1991. He will be observing his 34th year as a sole proprietor in August of 2025. During this time\, Joe has served on many local boards and councils\, headed up the Gloucester Downtown Merchants Association\, spearheaded the annual Sidewalk Bazar\, and organizes the Downtown Holiday Parade. Joe is a past board member of the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce\, serving on its Retail Committee.    Joe has served on the Gloucester City Council for twelve years\, the last two serving as Council President.\n\n \n\nHe was a past Cooperator for the Addison Gilbert Hospital and Sawyer Free Library. Until it's North Shore merger\, Joe volunteered with the American Heart Association and managed the Gloucester Chapter. He has been a member of the Gloucester Rotary Club since 1992\, president in 2004\, and the recipient of the Paul Harris Distinguished Service Award in 2017.
