\n\nIn keeping with John Hays Hammond\, Jr&rsquo\;s original vision for his seaside castle-home to serve as a museum offering the Gloucester community access to ancient works of architectural art\, Hammond Castle Museum will offer Gloucester residents free\, self-guided tours each Tuesday throughout the regular season which runs through the end of October. \;

\nGuests may explore the breathtaking building and grounds of Hammond Castle Museum and take guided tours offering new insight into the inventor that was one of the North Shore&rsquo\;s most dynamic residents. This year the museum will offer new exhibits. The Spring/Summer rotating exhibit will feature John Hays Hammond Jr'\;s explorations throughout Europe\, the Caribbean\, and Canada. In the Summer/Fall\, the Museum will feature a temporary exhibit on Hammond&rsquo\;s family with a focus on John Hays Hammond\, Sr. There will also be an exhibit on the staff members of the Hammond&rsquo\;s household.
Self-guided tours require registration which may be made in advance of your visit or upon arrival at the Museum. Self-guided tours are available from 10 am to 3pm\, to allow for enough time to adequately tour the museum which closes at 4pm.
