Sunday\, December 12\, 5pm show just added!\n\nSaturday\, December 11\,  SOLD OUT. \n\n\n\nCome join musicians from the Firebird Pops Orchestra as they present an evening of Holiday Chamber Music in a setting unlike any other   the Hammond Castle Museum Great Hall on the beautiful Gloucester coast.  The evening will feature selections from select Firebird string and brass musicians\, as well as FPO's principal pianist\, spanning the ages from modern day favorites all the way back to the era of Gregorian Chant.\n\nThe orchestra and chamber groups will perform works by Sir David Willcocks\, Matt Riley\, Morten Lauridsen\, Leroy Anderson\, and Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky\, among others.  The concert will also include favorite carols such as O Come\, All Ye Faithful\, The First Noel\, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing\, and O Holy Night\, and classics including selections from The Nutcracker Suite\, and the ubiquitous holiday favorite\, Sleigh Ride! The ensembles performing will be a 12-piece string orchestra\, a brass quintet\, and a string quartet.
