Join The Chamber in celebrating her win at The James\, Pub & Provisions in Essex.\n\n\n\nAbout Natasha\n\n\n\nOriginally from the small Caribbean island of Grenada\, Natasha immigrated to the United States in 1992 and has lived in Essex\, Massachusetts since 1999\, drawn to Cape Ann by its coastal beauty and strong sense of community\, so reminiscent of her Caribbean upbringing. With a lifelong penchant for volunteering\, she quickly found a deep connection specifically in Essex both professionally and through volunteer service. Working at her family's Market in Essex\, she got to know the people\, volunteering at the Museum\, she gained an appreciation for the culture. Natasha also holds a Bachelor of Science in Cartography\, her professional journey has been as diverse as her background\, including working as a food stylist for film and photography for over 17 years.\n\n\n\nSince 2003\, she's been an active volunteer with the Essex Historical Society & Shipbuilding Museum (EHSSM)\, an organization that aligns with her love for history\, culture\, the environment and hands-on community involvement. Natasha joined the board of directors in 2015\, working closely with other members and volunteers to further strengthen her commitment to the organization and its mission. In 2021 she took on the role of Office Manager\, where she helps oversee daily operations and community programs\, working closely with other Town departments and organizations.\n\n\n\nPermanently setting her roots here in Essex\, Natasha lives\, works and continuously encourages her family and others to volunteer within the community.
