DESCRIPTION:Friday August 9th at sunset\n\nEssex will experience a wonderful evening of fireworks by American Thunder.  The Shepard Memorial Park and all areas off Shepard Memorial Drive will be closed to the public during the day August 9th.  We will have  9  food trucks from 5-8:30.  There will be food for everyone from pizza and lobster rolls to hotdogs\, dessert and much more.  So come to the park early\; claim your spot for the fireworks and get some great food.  While you wait for the fireworks there will be live music.  Please take note of parking restrictions on August 9th at Shepard Memorial Park.  The park will be closed to any parking all day.  There will be parking at the elementary school.  This is a family\, alcohol free event\; no backpacks or coolers will be allowed.
